Michigan Amateur Hockey Association District 6

The end of season ACE Meeting is scheduled for Sunday March 28, 2010.  This meeting will be at the Walker Ice and Fitness Center at 3pm.  Please be sure to have a representative at this meeting.  I will be issuing an agenda very soon.  Attendance is necessary.

 I have noticed a problem of coaches violating their coaching ethics, so in conjunction with Art Kale, D6 Referee-in-Chief, I have written this letter as a reminder that our job is to develop hockey players and future adults.  We want to see a coach have passion and enthusiasm, just not the way its being seen.  I have had too many complaints about coaches verbally abusing players, officials and other coaches.  This is not the message we want to send out.

The Mid Season ACE Meeting was held on Sunday November 8 at the Kentwood Ice Arena.  Thanks to Joel Breazeale for presenting on ADM implementation.  Turnout was not what I expected, we need to do better.  Received some very good suggestions and will try to implement them as soon as I can.  Thanks to those who made it out.
